My Go-To 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Day Hairstyles

I got a DevaCut one month ago so now my go to hairstyles have been a little messed up but here are some super simple that can be perfect for any occasion.

I always make sure I have many, many bobby pins on hand at all times to ensure I can do what I need to do if wash day doesn't go as well as I had hoped. Sometimes day three or even day two doesn't happen. So let's get to it!

Messy Bun

Supplies:

Hair scrunchie

1. Gather hair into a ponytail at the crown of the head or a little higher but do not secure it

2. Take a scrunchie that is the same color as your hair, yes one from the 80's, and wrap your ponytail into a tight ballerina bun and secure it with the scrunchie

3. Pull on the bun until you are satisfied with the way it looks. I like to pull out a few little curls.

(optional)

4. Take out little baby hairs for a more messy look

Smooth bun

Supplies:

Hair tie

Hair donut

Bobby pins

Gel/edge control

Toothbrush

1. Gather hair into a ponytail where you want the middle of the bun to be and secure it with a hair tie

2. Pull ponytail through bun donut hole

3. Spread hair out around donut and swoop hair under donut

4. Secure with bobby pins where needed

5. Smooth baby hairs with edge control or gel with a toothbrush OR pull out baby hairs for a more messy look

Double buns

Supplies:

2 hair ties

Rat tail comb

Bobby pins

Gel/edge control

Toothbrush

1. Part hair down the middle down to the nape using the rat tail comb

2. Gather the two sections of hair into their own pony tails and make sure they are smooth with the rat tail comb

3. Lightly tease each of the ponytails or use a texture spray

4. Wrap each of the ponytails into a ballerina bun and secure with bobby pins

5. Smooth baby hair with gel/edge control and a toothbrush

Embellished side braid

Supplies:

Hair tie

1. Make sure hair is completely detangled

2. Make a deep side part on either side

3. Take a 1/2-1 inch section of hair and split it into two and twist the front section to the back

4. Continue twisting the front section over the back while adding hair to the front section when you twist. Continue this until you reach the bottom hair line.

5. Once you have twisted until the bottom of your hair line make three sections and braid down to the ends.

6. Pancake the twist and braid until satisfied

Boxer Braids

Supplies:

Rat tail comb

2 mini elastics

Gel/edge control

Toothbrush

1. Part hair down the middle, creating two sections, and completely detangle

2. Take a 1/2 square inch section of hair at the part line at the front of the head and split it into three and cross the front section under the middle and then the back section under the middle

3. Add a small section of hair into the front strand and cross it under the middle

4. Do step three with the back strand

5. Continue all the way down the head until there is no more hair left to add in and continue with a regular braid and secure it with an elastic. Do the same steps with the other section

6. When all the braiding is done, take your gel/edge control and toothbrush and smooth down all fly aways

Hope you guys like these styles!
